Will the conversation be confidential?
Yes. The first call is always confidential, and we sign a mutual NDA before any financial information changes hands. We never disclose that we're talking to a business — to anyone — without explicit permission.
What should I bring to the first conversation?
Nothing. The first 30 minutes is about understanding your situation, your goals, and whether there's a fit. If we move past that, we'll send a short request list — typically two years of financials and a few clarifying questions.
I'm not in your stated verticals — should I still reach out?
Yes — if the business has the qualitative attributes we look for (recurring revenue, founder-led, defensible position, fragmented industry), we're happy to evaluate. We'll tell you quickly if it's not a fit.
How quickly do you respond?
Usually the same business day. We treat every inbound as a real conversation — there's no inbound queue and no junior gatekeeper.
